Position: Tax and Accounts Assistant
Location: Dursley Glos
Salary: Competitive dependant on qualifications and experience

The role requirements
Experience in Accounting for Sole Traders, Partnerships and some Limited companies.
Personal Tax experience.
Working knowledge of tax and accounting software. Interest in Rural businesses would be an advantage.
VAT experience an advantage
AAT/ATT qualified preferable but not essential
Confident in processing Tax Returns from client supplied data
Accounts preparation from a range of different sources
Calculating adjusted profits and capital allowances claims including this into tax return
Liaison/ support / meetings with clients and report writing/letter writing/ telephone support as necessary
Use of in house accounts preparation software and industry standard products such as SAPA, SAGE and Quickbooks
Use of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and scheduling
Will be a self motivated and positive individual with a passion for quality and excellence in service delivery. Attention to detail with associated skills for communication and working as part of a team are essential as is the desire for continuing professional development. A good knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Outlook is required.
Training courses can be sourced and funded to improve skills, if appropriate, and ongoing CPD will be funded by the practice.
