We are registered to be able to carry on audit work in the UK and Ireland with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. For those companies, charities and other organisations with either a statutory or voluntary audit requirement, we provide an efficient and effective service using the latest technology.
Helping to add value throughout the process means providing you with valuable feedback and advice in accordance with the latest professional and legislative requirements. We are also able to provide other audit and assurance reports as required, for example by Government departments and grant providers, Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and service charge accounts.
We also recognise that the annual audit visit can be unwelcome in a busy organisation and we therefore aim, through careful planning and regular communication with you, to minimise the disruption to your business as much as we can. We will take every opportunity to use technology to enable us to work off-site whenever possible.
We recognise the fundamental importance of audit independence when providing additional services to our audit clients, to maintain integrity and objectivity in the audit process.
In order not to compromise our audit independence, our procedures ensure that non-audit services are performed by a separate team under the control of a partner not involved in the audit, usually based in a different office.
Independence issues on each assignment are reviewed regularly and safeguards revised / amended as appropriate to maintain this position. This structure enables many of the threats to independence to be removed completely or reduced to insignificant levels.
