Last night saw the great and good of the region’s business leaders attend the Business Leader Awards in Bristol, for which Burton Sweet’s Managing Partner, Geoff Cole, is a judge. Congratulations to all the winners, and indeed to all those nominated this year – the fourth at which Burton Sweet has been involved.
After a sumptuous meal accompanied by much merriment and conversation, host Clive Coleman (BBC’s legal correspondent and entertaining after-dinner speaker) introduced each of the categories to be presented.
The Rising Star Award
The Business Leader Awards is the region’s number one event celebrating enterprise, innovation and business success. Our association with the Awards this year saw us sponsoring the ‘Rising Star’ category, which recognises those young business people who have shone out among their peers. Nominees included:

And the winner was… James Piper of EcoSurety! Huge congratulations go to him.
